The church was founded as the Evangelical Protestant St. Peter's Church in 1860 with Adam Peter as pastor; the name was later changed to St. Peter's German Reformed Church. The church, in St. Peter, Harrison County, Ind., was an evangelical Lutheran church. It ceased operation around 1960 and no longer holds services, but maintains a cemetery.
